On November 19th 2008, we opened our first orphanage for Smilin’ Kids in Sihanoukville where 12 young girls are now living in a safe and caring environment. They enjoy family-like living circumstances, good food, good schooling and friendship. Unfortunately, because of a lack of funds, we have to refuse many children and we want to do something about it as soon as possible. You can help us by becoming a godfather or godmother of a child.
Water wells
Clean water is a basic need. Smilin' Kids has already financed and supervised the building of water wells in 18 different villages around Sihanoukville in South Cambodia. They now have access to clean water in abundance.
Uniforms
Dozens of Smilin’ Kids in the school uniforms we bought for them. Happy faces, because now they feel like all other schoolkids.
Clothing
We have distributed thousands of clothing pieces in the poor neighborhoods of Sihanoukville. Young and old are really enthousiastic about these small presents. We need more.
Schoolchildren
Up to now, Smilin’ Kids is providing schoolfees, books and uniforms for 42 poor children. With your help we can soon double, triple, quadruple the number of Smilin’ Kids schoolkids.
